Documentary export remittance
For your export operations, your customer ( the buyer) will not be able to gain access to the goods dispatched until their payment conditions have been accepted.
The exporter can have the control of the shipped goods until the buyer accept payment instructions and take up the document from the bank.
Documentary collections give significant payment warranty to the exporters. It is less expensive than a letter of credit.
